Australia visa photo: what are the requirements?
When preparing a photograph for an Australian visa, it is important to keep a few key requirements in mind. The image size should be 35 mm wide and 45 mm high. The background is light, preferably white or light gray, without shadows and extraneous objects. The face should occupy 75-80% of the frame, with a vertical head size of 31 to 36 mm. Facial expression - neutral, eyes open, mouth closed, gaze directed directly into the camera. The photo should be colorful, clear, without glare or red-eye effect. It is recommended to avoid wearing glasses, but if you must, make sure the glasses do not create glare and the eyes are clearly visible. Head coverings are only allowed for religious or medical reasons, and the face should be completely uncovered. Clothing is preferably solid color, contrasting with the background. The photograph must have been taken within the last six months and not heavily processed or retouched.
